Madison's on Dowlen - Alex with Jared Jones

Thanks to everyone for coming out this past Tuesday to support Alex and the good folks at Madison's. The rare "duet" show was a real treat for us and, if the room's reaction was any clue, it was a big hit! Expect to see more of this is the future!

What's happening now? Alex is playing a traditional acoustic solo set at Bayou Cafe # 2, in Port Arthur! RIGHT NOW! We're on our way!  Hope to see you there!

Okay, folks! It's official! Alex will be playing Madison's on Dowlen on Tuesday, August 12th with his friend and special guest Jared Jones from Bayou City Outlaws Band fame! Alex is pumped! "Aside from some private jam sessions at the firehouse, I haven't played with Jared since The LogOn Cafe back somewhere in 2009, so I'm really excited about getting to play together again".

This is a show you don't want to miss! Come on out and enjoy good food and drinks served up by some of the finest wait staff in the area. They'll be jammin' on the patio from 08:30pm-10:30pm.

Upcoming Show Dates

Alex has booked performances at several local venues during the month of August in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

An additional "duet" show is also in the works for Madison's in Beaumont.

Good Times at Bayou Cafe

Don't forget!  Alex will be at Bayou Cafe in mid-county tomorrow night playing a short show from at 7:30pm to 9:30pm. If you haven't visited Bayou Cafe yet, you are really missing out! This is definitely the place to go for the area's top gumbo and fish tacos! Great food AND you'll hear some of the best live music Southeast Texas has to offer! You can't pick a better place to be on a Thursday night!

Plan on bringing your friends and family! Alex will be keeping the mood right while owner Tod Stark and the fine folks at Bayou Cafe will be keeping the food & spirits flowing!

Hey, guys!  Come on out to Madison's today and support Demi Demas!  I'm joining up with Frankie and several other area musicians to help raise funds for Demi's medical expenses. You can expect great food (it's Crawfish, y'all!), good music, and a great cause!  Hope to see you there!

A Different Show Every Night!

Alex's set list continues to grow and change as he writes new music and adds a growing list of popular covers. In fact, he's had to split his set list yet again into several more distinct and different lists to accommodate the growing variety of venue styles he is playing these days. If you haven't seen him in a while, chances are you'll be surprised at what you hear.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day and I'm playing host to my two favorite Mom's today at Otis & Henry's! I'm playing my usual monthly brunch show, which is always a fun crowd. Come out and join us, if you want to give YOUR mom a treat! The food is great and I promise to try and make the music a highlight of her day.

So, let me give a shout out to those two moms that are here today! First to my own mother, who shaped and molded me into the person I am today, despite all of my resistance! She's also my biggest fan, always encouraging me and still, unwaveringly convinced I can be a star! I love you, Mom!

And to my beautiful wife, Maddie, who is the most incredible mom to our son, Liam. We are blessed that God sent you to us and I am grateful for how full you have made both of our lives. From your two boys, we send a heartfelt: We love you, Mommy!
